Friday prayer, also known as Jummah Namaz, is held once a week. Friday is a highly significant day because it was on this day that the first human, Prophet Adam (AS), was created, and it is also the day when the Day of Judgment will occur. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said,
“The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday.”
This is why Jummah prayer holds great importance. On this day, people gather in large numbers to offer the prayer in congregation, and the number of worshippers in mosques is much higher than on regular days.
